How we screen funds, calculate fees, compare benchmarks, and refresh data.
For each fund we record whether it uses a documented Sharia screening method (Yes / No / Unclear), which standard is applied (AAOIFI, MSCI Islamic, S&P Shariah, FTSE Yasaar, Dow Jones Islamic, or a custom approach), and a link to the certifying document where available. We do not adjudicate between standards. DISC-009 applies.
Returns shown are net of fees, as disclosed by the fund manager. Where the benchmark is a commercially licensed index (MSCI, S&P, Bloomberg, FTSE Yasaar) we display only the index name and link to the licensor's factsheet — we do not republish index values. CPI- and RBA-based benchmarks are calculated against ABS / RBA public data.
All fees are presented on a GST-inclusive basis. Where a fund discloses fees ex-GST, we apply a 10% GST adjustment and footnote the conversion. Where a fund does not disclose a single ICR figure, we show the components individually and the headline ICR as "Not disclosed" — we do not calculate or estimate it.
Listed ETFs refreshed daily. Unlisted retail and wholesale funds refreshed quarterly. Superannuation funds refreshed quarterly. Each fund profile shows a "Last verified" date adjacent to the data. Source documents include the fund's PDS, IM, TMD, and the fund manager's website.
